What I find ironic is how he keeps saying that disciplining and pack leading dogs is different from raising children and then goes on to say exactly what I do with children!!! I’m going to write a review/article about it. But he is right that you have to be a pack leader who exerts a calm/assertive energy and use discipline (teaching rules, regulations and limitations) as well as correction (which doesn’t mean pain) in order to have a pack with good energy that is balanced 
That sounds like it would be a good book to read as we train our new puppy!
oh yes! it would be awesome to read. I very highly recommend it. I also left a message at his dog psychology clinic to try and discuss how I parent children the way he pack leads dogs. We’ll see if they call back.
