they were doing really well at slowly cutting back on nursing at night naturally and gently. then they started getting their 2 year molars. Now they are nursing–no, not nursing, just sucking on me ALL NIGHT LONG~! It’s one or the other or both of them which means I’m PINNED to the bed
Now that I’ve gotten my labs back (we were trying to figure out why I am falling asleep every time I sit down, even behind the wheel of the van, and why my dh couldn’t wake me last weekend
) and everything is normal (I know, normal doesn’t mean much and I am getting the numbers to check them myself) I’m working on addressing the things that I *can* control.
I’m going to nurse them to sleep (doing that now
) and when I stay up late I’ll nurse if they want when I come to bed. Then I’ll nurse them any time after dh leaves for work. In between they can have binkies that I bought them tonight. They were running around enjoying them
We’ll see how it goes.
hello Crystal
Hope you will be feeling better soon!
I have a question….with all that is going on in your life…reno’s, twins:) , and illness…how do you handle you daily tasks(housework) and still meet your children’s needs? I am suffering from sciatica and it SLOWS me down. I am looking for creative ways to handle the neccesary tasks while maintaining a loving relationship with the children. Thanks.
Those 2 year molars can be very painful. How is the nighttime weaning coming along?
