Dugan is a helper!

The boys are getting so big! Dugan is showing himself to be such a helper. Yesterday when I changed their shirts he picked up the dirty ones in the living room and I asked him to go and put them on the floor in front of the washing machine. he even had a hurdle to get over but he did it. :D Then I pulled out a bag and said, ‘Oh, this is a yard sale bag. I need to put this outside.’ So when we were leaving the house he picked up the bag and carried it outside for me. I’m such a big fan of this stage. And Ronan is such a helper also, just more subtle than his brother ;) They spill (or pour) water on the floor and when I hand them a towel they clean it up. When I’m washing dishes they grab a washcloth and wipe down the door or the floor or something else. I love taking advantage of the natural inclination to “me do” and do like mommy and getting them into the flow of the family at such a young age.

So I’m reading Cesar’s Way

by Cesar Milan, the Dog Whisperer. I’m loving it! What I find ironic is how he keeps saying that disciplining and pack leading dogs is different from raising children and then goes on to say exactly what I do with children!!! I’m going to write a review/article about it. But he is right that you have to be a pack leader who exerts a calm/assertive energy and use discipline (teaching rules, regulations and limitations) as well as correction (which doesn’t mean pain) in order to have a pack with good energy that is balanced :)

Talking to Rebecca

I so enjoy talking to Rebecca :) She’s such an amazing friend and person and I love her honesty and she makes me laugh :D I have developed so many good friends that I have made online and it’s amazing to me how people I’ve never met irl can be so amazing and wonderful and exactly who I know them to be when I do meet them irl.

20 POUNDS

I have LOST 20 pounds!!! And my health has improved about 20% in my liver but we need another 25-30% in order to know we’re on the road to strong health :) And my diet has been expanded quite a bit! I’m so relieved. I was starting to feel rebellious to eating such a restricted diet. I hate to admit that :( Seems so un-self disciplined. But, honestly, I love good food. Not just good tasting, but gourmet style food. I am inspired in my cooking by watching iron chef :D Even when I can’t eat what they are preparing, I love seeing what other items they are putting together :D

Here’s Stephanie’s website Her rates are so reasonable and she has access to some amazing supplements! In fact, the stuff I’m taking to kill yeast has actually almost gotten rid of a wart that has survived through home treatments, being frozen 3 times, lasered 2 times, surgically removed once . . . in fact the last dermatologist I saw told me the only suggestion he had was experimental injections with nuclear medicine *ACK* So now it’s almost gone :D

I’m amazed!

Sorry I’m having to close comments

I have been getting spammed by relentless and ridiculous spammers and I’m tired of taking my time to delete them :( I can’t believe that people don’t have better stuff to do with their time because the spam isn’t even worth taking the time to bother me with them. But they want to waste their time and I don’t want to waste my time so . . . I’m excited that we’re about to celebrate our 10th anniversary! We had such a rough first year that I am really thrilled to be hitting this landmark. Not that I didn’t think we’d make it–I knew neither of us was going anywhere :) but there was a time when I didn’t know how happy we’d be while making it. The last few years have been rough, but we’ve been through them together, and have gotten stronger through it all, and I love my husband so very very much. He is an amazing man.

I’m really trying to come up with something special to do for our anniversary. I just don’t want this day to pass without a wonderful bit of attention paid to it :)
